Jobs that are scheduled through the web request pages and processed in a normal queue. New installations of telephone lines and equipment, data lines, new cable installation, telephone and data line moves, adds, or changes.

Jobs that are specified as Priority by the customer and require immediate resolution.

Per Hour in 1/4 Hour Increments

Applies to requests for materials such as copies of non-current customer toll statements or prior service unit billings; investigations of non-current information on service unit billings or billable repairs; and requests for other documentation or historical records. Hourly rate does not apply to normal, day-to-day customer service.

Additional Telephone Information for FY10

Arrangements for all telephone service must be coordinated through the OIT Business Services unit.  This includes service for Grants and other entities using University services. Boise State departments or other entities using University services should not contact dial tone or other telephone service providers for any telephone service.  All invoices for telephone services are consolidated, paid by OIT Business Services and charged back to departments to take advantage of payment processing savings.  Please call 426-1433 if you have questions.

OIT Business handles requests for inbound toll-free (800 #) lines and calling cards. The purchase of phone cards from other vendors is not allowed.  The contract vendor for Teleconference Services and Videoconference Bridging Services is AT&T.
